Join us in supporting music in our community by making a tax-deductible donation today!

Founded through the generosity of philanthropist Winnie Davis Long Crane, the Berkshire Music School has over an eighty-year history of bringing edifying musical experience to the community thanks to contributions by people like you.

The Berkshire Music School is a tax-exempt charitable institution as designated under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN# 04-2121369).  As such donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

PLANNED GIVING

Leaving a lasting legacy to the Berkshire Music School can be as simple as making a provision for the school in your will, or naming the school as a beneficiary for a distribution from a revocable trust or retirement account. Other ways to leave a legacy of support include: gifts of life insurance, charitable gift annuities, deferred gift annuities, charitable annuity trusts, charitable lead trust, and charitable remainder unitrusts. These methods of giving have a variety of valuable tax benefits.  Please consult with your financial advisor for more information.

To discuss planned giving options or receive additional information, please contact Executive Director Luis Granda at lgranda@berkshiremusicschool.org or by phone at 413-442-1411 ext. 12.

MATCHING GIFTS

Many employers and foundations generously sponsor matching gift programs for their employees’ philanthropic interests. These companies may be willing to double or even triple the value of charitable gifts made by employees, retirees and/or their spouses. You can increase your impact by making use of your company’s matching gift program. In these instances, you will be recognized for the full amount of your gift plus any employer match.
