Chamber Ensembles

Professionally coached ensembles meet weekly, sessions begin September, January and special summer offerings. Public performances follow each session. 10 or 15 weeks/60 or 90 minutes.

String Groups with Bing Liu
For all ages: Allegro (teens), Champagne (adults), Viola Quartet (14+ years), starts TBD

Keyboard Class
For adult beginners, starts TBD

Youth Chamber
For string students, ages 7–teens who can read music. Public performances at the end of each session. Supported in part by the Gia Cox Caird Scholarship Fund—some financial aid available.
10 weeks, Tuesdays, 6:15–7:15pm
starts January 17
$100 (non-BMS), $60 (BMS students who have registered for 10 or more lessons)

Adult Chamber Orchestra with Bing Liu
Designed for amateur chamber players ages 16+ to play together to explore the wide range of classical chamber music.  All instruments invited. Public performances at end of each session.
10 weeks, Fridays 5–6:30pm
starts January 20
$150 (non-BMS), $100 (BMS student or Stockbridge Sinfonia members)

Flute Choir with Sharon Powers
For intermediate to advanced students age 16+; to explore the repertoire of flute choir music, including alto, bass & piccolo flutes.
